The Annual Midnight Vigil...

Mr. Scot

That was 12 years ago. I don't think JR is going to hold that against him. He's been fine, other than '04 mishap, plus they need some help & a veteran like him is cheap.

Little wouldn't be able to do what we need. I don't know if we'll go after a guy like Kampman but Little doesn't seem up to the job.

Don't be so sure. I think he'll be up to it after being in the crapshoot that is St.Louis. Little wouldn't start or anything just be good backup. Kampman would be nice but yeah I don't think they would go after him.

Valid, but I don't think it's all that bad an option in this case.

I don't see the harm in letting guys have a bit of a head start, not as long as it applies equally to all parties.

Comeon... these are agents we're talking about. If we allow them to say, start negotiating three days before the free agent period, they'll just start tampering FOUR days beforehand. Nothing can prevent these guys from breaking the rules and getting a head start. It's just the way the beast operates.

I don't think they'll go for Little. The DUI thing is a bit too much.

They won't go for him because he's OLD. If they didn't go for him because of bad press, it just shows you how much JR wants to keep the squeaky clean, family friendly atmosphere here than win. I get that we're in the Bible Belt, I get that he has morals and values, but if he wants to be the best he has to take chances on people with "street cred", IMHO.

That said, dude is too old anyway. PASS.

The first move will probably be the Bears signing Peppers.

As for the Panthers, I really do believe they are going to make a splash of some sort. Maybe it's a couple of mid-level talents like Kevin Walter or one big name like Kampman or maybe even a trade for Boldin or Osi. They won't be as quiet as they were last year I'm sure because Hurney is out of a job come May 1st. He'll need something, including some magic in the draft, to prove to Richardson and Morris why he deserves to stay here.

And into the Peppers derby jumps...the Seahawks?

PFT: Seahawks could be making a big push for Peppers

Why didn't Hawk warn us this might happen?

I was getting ready to post this in your other FA thread. That now makes...

Chicago

New England

New York Giants

Seatle

Washington

in the running. Probably will end up being none of the above.

peppers will be a bear by the crack of dawn tomorrow. Panthers will try to make a trade for a possible #2 WR(like Davone Bess, Early Doucette) and like said earlier dwayne jarrett to NYG for umenyiora. we'd have to throw in a draft pick. about a 5th or 6th rounder.

The Giants are looking for another receiver?
