Today's Office Debate: Greatest Arcade Game Ever?

I have two. The sit down version of Star Wars..mucho epic and Tron Deadly Discs. Black light would make you look cool as you stepped in the chamber to do battle with someone else in virtutal reality. Pstall won alot of money playing those two games.

That's a hard question. I always loved Xevious, and a fairly unknown vector game called Major Havoc (mostly installed on refitted Tempest machines, but a few were purpose built with a roller pin instead of the dial controller).

As far as the mainstream games go, Defender, Donkey Kong, and Gorf were my faves.

I was just thinking about this... my kids probably don't even know what an arcade is... at least not what we're talking about here... while I spent many youthful hours in the one in the mall.
