I can tell you this. If I had gotten dressed up to go out with my wife and daughter and some a**hole starts spraying us with champagne while we are trying to enjoy our meal then you can bet there would be problems. He had no regard for the other people around him and what was he celebrating? Thats just a pure j*ck*ss move and he should know better. Strip clubs, guns, and spraying champange in a public restuarant are just idiotic, and before the biggest game of the season? I have no more sympathy for him. He is a douche.

I hear you. I know this doesn't matter - at all - but Villa Antonio at night is a club, not a restaurant anymore. Just clarifyin'

I have a feeling Bridges may have a defense in this case. Spraying bottles of champagne and athletes in the same sentence tend to be inflammatory to the general public nowadays. It sounds like the owner guy is trying to paint a picture to support his case, rather than give a true account of what happened.

Remarks like "he's a big football player" or whatever it was, and "he was out of control." Yet, if he saw all that, he downplayed whatever the woman said to Bridges. How did he not hear that but was there for Bridges being "out of control." It's just my personal opinion, but I think Bridges has a defense.

The only report I have seen said that he opened a bottle and that it sprayed on some other patrons. I've seen several posts eluding that Bridges sprayed the bottle on people. Is that just asuming or is there another version of the story I've not read yet?

Story in the observer said he sprayed champagne after shaking the bottle. He was asked to leave and he agreed to. On his way out a woman started yelling at him, said something to him, that apparently pissed him off and Bridges started yelling, etc. The bar thought he was too big to handle so they called police. He left before they got there.

Even though it sounds like a misdemeanor its still a stupid move on Bridges part. What a dumbass.

I was gonna say too, how can I bouncer charge someone for assault when most likely, he put his hands on Bridges first? I'd understand if Bridges threw punches, but he didn't. Isn't a bouncer's job to push people around and make physical contact with someone if they get unruly? I call B.S.

Ok according to the Observer update, he sprayed some champagne on some people at the bar, people got angry, bouncer tried to remove him and apparently Bridges shoved him.

Stupid, but that doesn't warrant more than a one-game suspension imo. Definitely not one for the remainder of the season.

I'd agree honestly. Sounds like much ado about nothing.

Chandler is on ESPN First Take now. He makes it sound like it isn't much, but admits it's a potential distraction.
