Yeah...let's make judgements against a guy that gets how long to prepare for a Senior Bowl with some receivers he hasn't thrown to all season.

The Golden Calf of Bristol has the smarts and drive to be successful in whatever he does.

Dude smarts and drive wont help you at all if you don't have the physical tools and he doesn't.

Really...

Well I guess all the teams will let him go all the way to the 5th or 6th...heck...we might even have a compensatory pick to use on him.

By the way...there have been "flaws" in every QB since the beginning of time. Who in their right mind would ever draft a QB who's 6' or shorter in the age of linemen that are easily averaging 6'2 and up. I'd much rather someone with the "it" factor than nitpick about their delivery and footwork. That comes with experience getting ramped up to NFL game speed. I'd use a 3rd on the guy...easily.

Good thing you will never be an NFL GM, The Golden Calf of Bristol does not have the physical tools to be an NFL QB. He's a great person off the field I really hope he concentrated on getting a good education at UF or he learns how to block because thats the only way the kid makes it in the NFL. He is not accurate, he doesn't throw good deep ball, his footwork is terrible, he cant take a snap from under center on a consistent basis and he isn't quick enough to be a scrambling QB. He's got a great heart and he's passionate about the game but he just doesn't have the physical attributes of an NFL QB.

bookmarked...

In no way am I say The Golden Calf of Bristol will be the next Montana...but I'm not so spoonfed what to think regarding athletes from narrow-shouldered analysts/writers that I'll say he's a guaranteed fail.

I'll give him the benefit of the doubt first...he's not a moron. If you were Oakland right now...who would you rather have...Jamarcus Russell or The Golden Calf of Bristol...costs being a factor as well.

I like Gradkowski...but he didn't make it in Tampa, St Louis, or Cleveland for a reason...and Toledo isn't in the SEC.

and he's 27

Don't even bring up the SEC first of all. Second he was still very young. He's only been in the league for three years and bounced around different systems so he hasn't really had a chance to fully grasp any scheme. Rookie QB's that impress from day 1 while a common theme the last 2 years are the exception not the norm. Gradkowski was playing great to end the season for the Raiders. It showed because the games were actually close and competitive.
