Most 1st round QBs are overrated. Hard pass.

Purdy > Lamar Jackson, CJ Stroud, Josh Allen, Tua Tagovailoa, Kenny Pickett, Joe Burrow, Trevor Lawrence, Ryan Tannehill, Baker Mayfield, Justin Herbert, Daniel Jones, Jordan Love, Justin Fields, Kyler Murray & Bryce Young.

Going toe to toe with Patrick Mahomes to own the NFL for the 2020s. A few more Brock Purdys headed our way this decade.

Unitas, Starr, Staubach, Montana, Favre, Warner, Brady were the best QBs of their era. Purdy gets a chance to carry that trend for the 2020s with Mahomes as his #2 like Manning was to Brady & Marino/Elway were to Montana.

History keeps repeating

Did you get dropped as a child or are you a troll?

Most are overrated but if you're gonna compete for SBs you probably need one. Take away Brady's 6 and the SB count for 1st rounders is absolutely overwhelming. It's already a sizeable lead even with Brady's 6.

.

No it's not. You're just not keeping count & hanging your hat on failed 1st round QBs who couldn't get it done with the team that drafted them.

I would be furious at Dan Camp bell if I was a lions fan. That piece of poo fuged his own team twice.

He had three opportunities to kick field goals to give his team the best chance to win. He bypassed all three. It's unfathomable that a professional could manage a game that poorly. There are middle schoolers playing Madden right now that handle that second half better. And not like just a few.

Purdy made plays all on his own all game. Numerous times he extended plays, made back breaking runs, dropped dimes.

Weak link or not, they lose today if he doesn’t pull poo out of his ass throughout the game.

Preach!

At this point the Purdy hate is just absurd. It's absurd!

Dan Campbell lost that team the game. They won't recover from that.

50% on him, 50% on the players for fuging up repeatedly. He made some dumb calls but they dropped a bunch of balls and missed a bunch of tackles. They could've saved him.

I honestly don't listen 🤣 I usually have it muted and on in the background unless I'm watching hockey.

I should honestly start.

I really don't mind Purdy. The slobbering just gets ridiculous. He throws a two yard pass to CMC or Samuel who breaks 7 tackles bouncing off defenders for 20 yards and they rave about Brock Purdy. Like WTF? Are we watching the same play??? LOL!

Dan get fired next year when lions start 2-8. That team got Fu ked by their ego maniac coach. When form going up by three scores to losing in 20 minutes. I have seen coaching that poor in a long time.

Absolutely. They can just do it now and keep Ben.

Totally agree man. Hard to not be totally deflated after that meltdown. I'll be curious how they show up next year. I feel like they actually overperformed a bit this year.

The Lions definitely overperformed, AND the NFC was complete ass this year. Wouldn't be surprised at all if they fall apart and we don't hear from them again for the rest of the decade.

If the Lions were the dominant team in the NFC this year and choked it away, I might agree.  But this was somewhat unexpected.  They will look back on this as a good overall season, and I think they will be ok.  Hopefully, their coach learns that when you have a chance to go up by three scores in the second half of the NFC championship game, you go for it.

With Ben Johnson out the door and this epic choke job I’m not so sure about that.

    • Watching Rams/Eagles. Celebrating the St Louis Rams team that won the SB (Warner, Holt, etc..) while playing in Los Angeles seems wrong.  If I were in Los Angeles, no way I would attend a Rams game.  Probably wouldn't attend a Chargers game either.  Becoming a fan of a team that likes to move around just seems like a waste of energy as a fan.
    • The only responses I am getting after providing statistics to put opinions in perspective seem to be from people who get angry and attack stats and people whose opinions differ from their own.  Have people on the Huddle ever overreacted, exaggerated, been wrong about players before?  Sure they have, so an alternative opinion with statistical support should not cause you to attack me or my views.  I am sorry your public schools failed you.  But your reactions are very revealing--you are stuck in Piaget's concrete operational stage--learn logic, how to debate a topic, and learn the difference between facts and emotional opinions.  When I paralleled Cam's stats with Jones' to point out how remarkably similar their careers have been to this point, It blew some 40 watt minds.  I think Jones, in a better situation, could be good--that should not upset you--
    • penalties and poor hands is what cost us in the RZ Bryce missing "high" in the back of the end zone is not an issue, you're taught as a QB to throw high in the back of end zone were only the receiver can catch or no one The duo of Ian Thomas and Tommy tremble can both go at the end of the season, both been here for multiple seasons and they've barely developed
