If I am remembering this correctly he had a major hip problem and decided to retired and didnt just go on IR, or try to rehab during the season.

I don't know. Soon as I saw the horses thing I jumped off the Pro-Electro bandwagon. AKPF and CatofWar were his two main defenders in that thread. And Cooter and Ms. Skyy.

There were actually two or maybe even three really long threads about it. The first one was started by the pro crowd, the second by the anti group, and there were one or two more bringing up memories of his greatest hits.

YOU were the one that PM'D me to let me know he had passed, and that it was a sad situation....i did not know he passed until you told me. now, you poke fun and laugh after the fact? i'm confused on that one.

Maybe electro was right on one thing....there are alot of TWO-FACED people on this board who like to keep up with the huddle popularity contest, they are awesome to your face, but will talk ultra poo about you behind your back. those were his exact words during one of our last phone conversations.

i wouldn't want friends like that, ever. so until you saw what happened to some animals, how quickly you change your tune.....gotta keep up with the status quo, i guess.

I explained it in that thread. When I read his girlfriend's thread I was the first to post condolences, and I put RIP Electro as my signature. You and a couple of others saw that and asked me what happened. Then a couple other posters shared the animal neglect news links and I immediately distanced myself from him. Then I started hearing stories from females who stopped posting here but are facebook friends of mine. I'm sorry, but it doesn't make sense to me to stand behind someone you've never even met before when all evidence suggests he did some very bad things. He was nice to me on this board. That doesn't mean I have to respect someone who let his animals starve and terrorized women on this board.

Great thread. Agree, we will not sign anyone of name ability and it'd be stupid to trade away one of the two decent picks we have for a 30 year old WR. Compensatory picks and fiscal responsibility are parts of that too, but as much as anything else we don't do that anymore - we don't make huge contract moves for guys we don't know.
