Not sure how that was a fail of Fitts, but yeah CMC to Buffalo made all the sense in the world and they let SF get him for a 2nd and a couple of mid-rounders.

Depends on the situation. The goal isn't to make the playoffs, it's to win the SB. If you don't think you're getting closer to that ultimate goal at some point you have to do something different. There's also salary cap situations, aging players naturally declining, etc. to consider.

if they haven't gotten a ring with this coach and QB combo by now, it's not going to happen.

that window is shutting. but they are a perennial playoff team so it would be hard to justify doing it, but they aren't going further with this combo than they have so far. if the goal is a ring, then they need to shake it up. if they are satisfied with just getting in the playoffs then maintain the status quo, i guess.

Panthers' fan logic right here.  I think the OP wants them to blow it up so they suck like us.  All playoff teams that don't win the SB should fire their coaching staffs!

Put yourself in the shoes of a Bills fan. KC just has their number right now. Plain and simple. You gotta do something to try to change that. I don't know if that's firing McDermott but they definitely need some changes.

Naw keep the team but get a new HC. Love McD but he isn't getting over the hump. Put a great OC as their HC and they win a SB. Deffensive guys won't put enough into their O to win if it's ever at the expense of their Ds.

I agree. Josh Allen needs a fresh start. Trade him to the Panthers.
