Like I said before, reporters were probably badgering him with questions about Delhomme. He's not going to sit there and say "ya he sucks man, those interceptions ruined our season." I'm sure if they posted the entire interview he probably praised Matt Moore as well.

I'll also say that If Moore will take this to heart and lose confidence, I'm not too sure I would WANT him starting. Quarterbacks need to have a day to day memory, can't let stuff like this keep him down. He should take this and bring it to training camp to prove people wrong.

Well I agree a lil, I think D.Will might have got caught trying to defend Delhomme and something may have slip. Or He might truly mean this and is tired of everyone treating Delhomme like crap. Who knows?

All I know is that this is the second leader on our team that has basically defended Delhomme in a way that it degrades Moore or any other QB on our team. I think with Moore's cool attitude, he won't think much of it. I'm scared that the chance for the QB job might be out of his hands.

Sorry bro but you 100% WRONG. I would take a qb who throws for 500 yards and 5 touchdowns any day over one who simply shakes games off. Why not have both? Just cause Jake can get over a loss and come back with full confidence doesn't mean he can actually pull it off. I think last year was MORE than ample proof of this exact statement. Jake had a more than a bad day at work, be did things in which normal 'employees' would probably be fired for lack of production ON THE SPOT. So its dumb to compare it to just a bad day. If you suck at your job for a year like Jake you get canned.

Maybe this is what the whole 'boycott losing' meant from Harris.

Its so sad Smitty and Dwill want Jake, they are holding themselves back. Delhomme will be our qb next year I have NO doubt. HE will win through 'competition' just like last year. I wish the panthers chose Qbs off things like recent wins/interceptions/completion/yards/Tds.

Guys, the writing is on the wall...read between the lines...read the tea leaves...look into your crystal ball...Jake will be the guy whether the fans like it or not. He has support from Fox, some influential players, and probably the Big Cat. I don't like it any more than you, but Moore is going to have to unseat Delhomme from his throne come August, and I am not sure that he can do it. I surely wouldn't bet against Jake.

Well, having Jake in there SHOULD mean more running attempts for D-Will, Stew, and whoever. We were running consistently on third and long, very long, in the first New Orleans game. But I think starting Jake is a mistake. But, I don't have any influence on the team.
