Great write up on draft by Catscratchreader.com

guy says he predicted Carolina getting Stewart and Otah in the 1st.

also says he hit on Connor......

I must say if that IS TRUE......that is beyond crazy. I have yet to hear anyone predicting those events that took place.

It wasn't a stretch to say that we would move up to get any combo of WR and OT in the first that year. I thought the same thing...didn't know exactly who but I figured we get both of those positions in the first round.

Right now we have some solid depth on the DL. He is probably right that we do need some more talent at DE though.

I like the athleticism that JPP brings and if we could get him in the 2nd then I wouldn't pass him up either. There are some pundits that are saying the Raiders might take him with their first round pick because of what he'll do at the combine. He is definitely an athletic freak...and if he has the desire to beat you then what more can you ask for out of a DE?

I wouldn't mind taking him at all with our first pick even though I still think that WR is a bigger need.

I assume that we are going to reach a contract agreement with Matt Moore so QB will probably not be at the top of our needs list but the guy needs some options to throw to. That said my draft board as of now looks like this, including unattainable players:

1. Suh

2. Bryant

3. Clausen

4. Gerald McCoy

5. Berry

6. Tate

7. Bradford

8. Dan Williams

9. Morgan

10. Benn

11. Kindle

12. Price

13. Griffen

14. Pierre-Paul

15. Colt McCoy

16. Hughes

17. LaFell

18. Damian Williams

Please don't get caught up in the hype of JPP... He's Derrick Harvey (which a lot of people here got convinced that we wanted), but a little better against a lot lesser competition... and Harvey was nowhere near as valuable as his hype...

Meh, I thought it was average...

JPP will likely be a 1st rounder, and I don't really want us to consider moving up for him.. He has the measurables, but his play is rather average if you ask me...

I'll make you a wager. If you're wrong and we do pick up JPP (very odd his initials are JP and he's #90) then you have to change your name to Samuel L. Jackson. How about it? :D
