Yeah, well keep in mind he would also have none of the massive advantages he has there. Tons of talent, a very capable front office and an entire organization that understands what building a success looks like.

Tomlin(or most of these guys) probably don’t look as hot with the equivalent of a meth head playing with tinker toys in comparison to the Steelers situation.

They keep bringing in more. They have made mistakes but the good to bad ratio is amazingly great.

Andy Reid is the only one to have sustained success with multiple teams and multiple QB'S starting for him. Reid, is leading in almost every category, except for those that Belicheck holds. That being said, all of BB's success is tied to Brady. Reid has won with multiple QB'S and 2 teams. In Philly he won with Mcnabb, Kolb, Vick. In KC he was won with, Alex Smith and Mahomes.

Belicheck will always have the Wins and 6 superbowl championships. He's also lost countless assistants to other HC promotions and front office people over all those years. However he's not looked so great post Brady.

Tomlin has done a hell of a job with the same organization since he took over in 07. He has even surpassed Cowher now in wins. It's hard to separate his success from that of Big Ben, much like BB and Brady. 

McCarthy also owes much of his success to mainly Aaron Rodgers, however he was won with Prescott and even Cooper Rush when Prescott got injured. He's an interesting case as his overall record took a hit in his last 2 years in Green Bay and his first year with Dallas. But the cowboys have gone 12-5 in each of the last 3 seasons.

Payton owes almost all of his success to Brees and bounty gate.

Harbaugh has had either Flacco or Lamar since taking over. So he's not really faced to much trouble with finding a good QB either

Carroll's bulk of wins came under Russ. 2 losing seasons prior to him. However he's had a winning record with Geno Smith at the helm the last 2 years.

McDermott has been blessed with Josh Allen

McVay has had Goff and Stafford his whole tenure.

Shannahan has had the least impressive QB'S to work with:

Garappolo, Beathard, Mullens, Hoyer and now Purdy. So he has certainly done the most with the least at the QB position since he became a head coach in 2017.

My final thoughts are this:

Reid is the best coach in the NFL right now.  If you want youth, then Shannahan is the best offensive minded head coach and Mcdermott is the best defensive minded head coach.
