I'd think that they chose Monroe because it's a hike out there. It's an hour from my house no matter what route I choose. Even from downtown, it's still a hike thanks to the lovely Independence Blvd.

I can't believe more people aren't out there.

The GOOD thing about things like this is that natural reaction is "ohh man- everyone is going to be there".

Most of the time that just helps keep everyone away.. (or a lot)

Update: It's now around 5, and there are probably around 50 people here. they are starting to give out envelopes with your place in line, so the sooner you get here, the better chance you'll be able to get free tickets. I'm not sure if i'll be able to keep on updating, as my wireless card is soon going to be gone. good luck guys

What are you noticing in terms of people waiting - young, old, people who are likely to use the tickets themselves, potential scalpers, people wearing panthers gear....etc

I agree.......but I can't complain I'm glad I'm here than some of the other HOT places I've been.
