And then when he wasn't it left me wondering if he wasn't heavily influencing Rhule the whole time because nothing changed. We still made terrible roster moves.

Things got worse when Rhule left.

He’s keeping them here because they are good coordinators but if the new coach wants to dismiss them so be it but I’m gonna hold onto them in case they want them. It’s a sign that the head coach and offense were the problem.

They already blocked 2 interviews on a maybe? It's obvious he is hoping to keep them here. Everything was a problem, some more than others. Some of those guys also went behind the last HC's back. Tepper still thinks he built an allstar staff but in the end they were all a 2 win staff.

He bowed out when he realised the GM was just going to be Rhule's bag boy.

And yet he took the DC job. That was part of the point I was trying to make why it's looking like the better landing spot than the Panthers. They get Petters and we will get another Fritters or worse, the analytical genius that Tepper thinks will save him by cracking the code where football is just an equation.

Just because the Huddle thinks they are bad doesn't mean the league thinks they are bad. WE have something other teams in worse situations on defense and ST want.  Not everything boils down to Tepper Bad.  Some moves actually make sense, if the new HC has a plan then neither of them are gonna hurt for a job next season.

2 wins. Can the guys here do better? Absolutely. Dropping a new HC in like they dropped in Bryce and expecting the best outcome is going to be hilarious because it's a terrible idea. These moves don't make sense because keeping anyone after the stuff, all of it, that went down this season is a bad idea. It was a poorly built staff that already turned on itself and then failed doing it their way. It's like expecting better talent acquisition when Tepper gets his analytical GM to match with this dropped in HC. Change is healthy in these situations and not burning bridges would be a huge positive, for players and staff.

I get that point.  I still like to let the next HC decide the fate of the staff we currently have under contract.  If they clean house, they clean house and rightfully so.

Telling y'all

Kellen

Moore

If that’s true, I’ll be taking an indefinite leave of absence from Panthers’ football. That would be the most questionable decision we could make with all the more qualified candidates out there.

    • Watching Rams/Eagles. Celebrating the St Louis Rams team that won the SB (Warner, Holt, etc..) while playing in Los Angeles seems wrong.  If I were in Los Angeles, no way I would attend a Rams game.  Probably wouldn't attend a Chargers game either.  Becoming a fan of a team that likes to move around just seems like a waste of energy as a fan.
    • The only responses I am getting after providing statistics to put opinions in perspective seem to be from people who get angry and attack stats and people whose opinions differ from their own.  Have people on the Huddle ever overreacted, exaggerated, been wrong about players before?  Sure they have, so an alternative opinion with statistical support should not cause you to attack me or my views.  I am sorry your public schools failed you.  But your reactions are very revealing--you are stuck in Piaget's concrete operational stage--learn logic, how to debate a topic, and learn the difference between facts and emotional opinions.  When I paralleled Cam's stats with Jones' to point out how remarkably similar their careers have been to this point, It blew some 40 watt minds.  I think Jones, in a better situation, could be good--that should not upset you--
    • penalties and poor hands is what cost us in the RZ Bryce missing "high" in the back of the end zone is not an issue, you're taught as a QB to throw high in the back of end zone were only the receiver can catch or no one The duo of Ian Thomas and Tommy tremble can both go at the end of the season, both been here for multiple seasons and they've barely developed
