The compensentory picks aren't announced until after the owner's meetings in March. I would imagine we would either get a 5th and a 6th or a 6th and a 7th for losing guys who started on their new teams.

Whoa everybody, compensatory picks are not awarded and announced until late March or early April. There is a guy who tries to predict them (and usually gets most of them right) who posts on a few popular draft sites in mid March. Look for that.

Carolina — The Panthers didn't sign any qualifying players, so they will receive a comp pick for each qualifying player lost. They should get a fifth or sixth for Geoff Hangartner and a sixth or seventh for Frank Omiyale. There is a small chance that Mark Jones also will qualify. If so, the Panthers would get a seventh for him.

5th, 6th and 7th would be nice.

BTW, Owners meeting is scheduled for March 21-24.
