She would not eat this morning but she has been drinking a lot of water and pissing alot. Her gums are real pink so she is pretty hydrated.

I have to go to Winston to shoot today, hate leaving her but don't have much choice.

Well at least she's drinking and using the bathroom - those are good signs too. She probably ate something that isn't good for a dog and until she gets it out of her system...she's going to feel poorly.

I hope for the best - hopefully she will be herself when you get back and ready to pounce on some food.

My dog is part weimer....she's crazy, hyper, and possibly insane. But not frisky. Cats are frisky, dogs aren't. It's demeaning to call a dog frisky.

Haha, absolutely. My sister has a Weim, and it NEVER tires out. You can play with her for forever, and then when you get tired and stop moving she just runs donuts around you for about 5 minutes.

Took her to a different vet yesterday. She wasn't doing any better.

He thought she threw a disk in her back. So he gave her a muscle relaxer and sure enough last night she was her old self again. I picked up some meatballs for her (her favorite) and she ate a whole plate. It was amazing to see the change in just a couple hours. She is on mandatory bed rest for two weeks.

Oh wow...who would have thought a spinal disc issue was the problem? She just is a pup at heart but now her body is catching up....yeesh.

I am glad she's getting better and painkillers seemed to get her to perk up and eat. How are you going to get an energetic dog to rest???
