No he is a #1 corner. I think he was dealing with injuries all season too.

You know what...disregard my last comment. I was asking my friend what he thought about Dunta Robinson since he was a Texans fan and he gave me some bias info. After looking at some other boards, here is the consensus..

-They didn't want to overpay Dunta (He was asking for Top 3 CB money).

-Plays the run aggresively

-Got called for alot of PIs this year

-Hands were bad this year

-Still a #1

-Very Injury-prone

-"Pay me Rick" shoes makes him a diva lol

If he is asking for that much money, I don't think we will make a run.

like i said he is a #1 corner if he stayed healthy. staying healthy is one of the most important issues any football player must deal with. If they can't then they arent worth the money...dj hackett had a lot of potential but that guy was injured more than he played. Now I know thats comparing apples to oranges but thats how the nfl goes.

I heard from Texan fans that he really isn't a good #1 cb, draws a lot of PI calls and got burned a lot last year. Also they said injuries have hurt his game which is why Houston isn't wanting him back. I personally love for us to get a good cb because I dont think Marshall is that good and Gamble isn't great although he has improved. I would rather us go after Boddin.

We keep talking as if we've "got" Marshall already. When looking at Dunta's price tag, you need to look at the difference between what he wil make compared to Marshall to find his true price tag for us. This, in my opinion, makes him a much more viable option.

I know our D doesn't really rely on the skillsets of a Revis or an Asumogha, but two really productive corners and an outstanding LB core could help mask Safety and D-Line weaknesses in theory.

Anyone know what kind of D Houston runs? I don't watch much Texans football.
