at that price though shinner, he is a flier. 1 year back of the rotation guy for yall. and if he performs to 2007, or 2006 level he will be the steal of the year. if he is injured yet again, well it will be bad penny. this is better than the burnett deal, he has an equally troubling med report, and a bigger longer deal.

Low balling Mark Teixeira because he was a home town kid, and signing Mark Hendrickson as a long reliever and spot starter, just isn't enough for a team with no starting pitching besides Jeremy Guthrie.

Signing Brad Penny to a one year 5 mil deal is the type of things the O's need to do. Maybe they will take a chance on Sheets. I doubt it tho. The only thing I'm hearing is them interested in Redding and a couple of guys from Japan.
