Can Panthers-Giants be moved to Monday night?

I doubt they will flex Us vs the Giants. They are already playing next week on Sunday.

I believe two years ago the Patriots played two Sunday night games in a row.

I just went and looked the scheldule.

These are the only real choices

Atl v Min

Ari v NE

Car v NYG

Pitt v Tenn

Phil v Wash

or leave SD v TB in place

True. I wonder if the networks can put enough pressure on the NFL to change that. It would mean a big logistical night mare for the home team, but it's not impossible if given 2 weeks notice. They change Sunday night and get the word out to the ticket holders. Should be able to do the same for a 24 hour change. (unless of course I've booked a flight and hotel reservations. :))

I'm in favor of it because we all know what kind of turkeys they have had for Monday night this season.

I doubt they could flex Monday Night games because of the reasoning you just stated, not only for the fans but also for the teams.

However, to get better Monday Night matchups they could only schedule the first 8 weeks and then schedule the next four after the first four games. Then not schedule the last four until the halfway point. It would still cause some logislic probblems but not as bad with a four week notice.

i believe that networks have the ability to 'protect' one game from being flexed...and if that's the case (which i'm pretty sure it is), then fox would protect it from being moved off it's network. they could however move it to 4 o'clcok (if its not already).

Eagles vs Redskins was protected by Fox already.
