Please Tepper do the right thing and go hard after Jim Harbaugh

How long did it take him to beat Ohio State?

Hell, college is his element yet a few years ago people were speculating that Michigan might be ready to move on from him.

Harbaugh the coach reminds me of Terrell Owens the player. Fans everywhere were always saying it would be different if he just came to play for us, yet everywhere he went it was only a short time later that they were ready to be done with the experience.

It won't surprise me if Harbaugh ends up having a similar legacy.

Harbaugh is a champion. Owens should've been one---he came close.

At the college level, after 9 years...

He's not one at the pro level yet, and he might never be.

I should probably add that mantras like "he's a champion" and "he's a winner" have about as much effect on me as "he's a leader of men".

I get that he said it but its not on his twitter feed and he would literally be the first person that is breaking that story.  That said I dont believe him

I think I agree, I was just posting the source that he asked about. I did some digging and you are right, no other mention anywhere.

Haven't seen corroboration from a single source anywhere.

There are guys I'd listen to solo. Mac and Bone aren't among them.

Just the fact that he took his team to three championship games along with being a national champion as well as all his other accolades like winning percentage as a pro and his penchant for upgrading programs in college to a level where they've never been (or really have no business being on) should make anyone at least satisfied for him to be their coach at the pro level.  If you can look at all that and toss it out the window, or just overlook it period doesn't really seem like credible analysis to me (like there's something else that must be going on), but you are very much entitled to your opinion.

Rumor this or that, I'll believe it once I see something reported. Harder because there is no formal request system for these kind of hires (college to NFL) so you don't get any validation until after the fact.

I get the harbaugh hype. I just don't buy it.

Talk to me when he's a consistent success in the pros without players getting tired of him.

(If that happens, I wouldn't bet on it being with us)

it always been reported it was his relationship with the front office folks that got him kicked out of San Fran.  Not a locker room/player thing.

It was both. There were players that hated him too.

There was a whole story about it on NFL.com at the time it happened (pretty sure Rapoport wrote it).

Reich wasn’t a consistent success in the pros and you were on board with that. Harbaugh is a lot better than a Reich I don’t see the problem in at least talking to him.
