Please Tepper do the right thing and go hard after Jim Harbaugh

What are you hearing on us and Harbaugh?

Not much. But will likely start hearing more this week now that the season is officially over. He called Tepper multiple times last year, I imagine there will be some discussion this year as well.

I said it a few weeks ago, I can really see Tepper taking a shot with a Tepper or Belichick type.

Gotcha, thanks again for the info, it’s appreciated. As much as I want harbaugh, they have compiled an really solid list of potential head coaches.

Depends on what you want.

Exactly.

People just looking at rosters. Harbaugh probably wants a lot of money and full control. That gives him time to build his own program. Sure having a good QB would help, but I think his decision will come down to money and full control at the end of the day.

It would certainly be in Teppers wheelhouse to try to make a splash to restore some shine on his reputation.

I just can’t understand someone not want Harbaugh, he would easily be the best coach we’ve ever had and ppl are saying “nah, we are good, the fact that Tepper says no, I feel good about that”?

Main issues would be...

1) it's likely a temporary solution. I know some folks are desperate enough they'd be happy with one trophy followed by ten years of mediocrity. I'm not

2) Harbaugh is way better suited to college kids than he is too professional adults, and...

3) He's not the guarantee people make him out to be. Plenty of guys succeed in one situation only to completely fail in another (Jimmy Johnson and George Seifert are prior examples)

Table manners play an important part in making a favorable impression. They are visible signals of your manners, and therefore, are essential to professional success.

Seriously, we made mistakes by going after brand names in perfect situations.  Sanders, for example, had a great year behind an excellent OL, and passing game.  Perfect conditions, and we paid him for his success in Philly.  Bryce looked good as a front runner at Bama where his team was usually heavily favored.  Want to see a coach?  Take the guys who win without great players around them.  Take guys who develop players so that they max their potential--(I am very down on Campen, but what he has done with Ickey, Zavala, Mays, Bozeman, BC is criminal.)   I personally like coaches with close relationships with Shanahan.  They all seem detail oriented and they maximize talent.

Reportedly, in contrast to the T Bone report, the Panthers have infact reached out to inquire about an interview. If it goes down is anyone’s guess. We won’t know until after.
