Please Tepper do the right thing and go hard after Jim Harbaugh

it always been reported it was his relationship with the front office folks that got him kicked out of San Fran.  Not a locker room/player thing.

There were reports from the Chronicle that he was alienating some "faces of the franchise," although no one ever reported who those players were.

Obviously these "faces of the franchise" from the following linked article didn't have a problem with him.

To your point about the players vs the FO, it sounds like a bunch of B.S. spread by the FO. Scot has run with it though, but I haven't.

It was both. There were players that hated him too.

There was a whole story about it on NFL.com (pretty sure Rapoport wrote it).

well, I have never seen that about Harbaugh at either level.  Maybe it's out there. But the owner/GM/Harbaugh fighting is very well documented.  Think that's the primary driver there.

but his inability to work with folks in white collar shirts would prevent him from getting hired here.  Harbaugh wants it done his way.  It's a bad marriage here. but I'm down with any slander that keeps him out of Carolina.  I'm team Vrabel until I can't be.

I don't understand what seems like personal hate, but haters gonna hate. I said what I needed to say. Don't cry when whatever team he coaches ends up a champion while we're still spinning our wheels. It's a damned shame, but it is what it is.

Harbaugh will be very good for a NFL team with the right front office.  Ours is lead by David Tepper though.

Reich wasn’t a consistent success in the pros and you were on board with that. Harbaugh is a lot better than a Reich I don’t see the problem in at least talking to him.

Reich worked for Jim Irsay.

(not that working for David Tepper looks much better right now)

Either way, doesn't have as much to do with what they've done as what I think they will do.

I like the idea, if only to watch him and Tepper go at it constantly

wait a minute, maybe if we get on Hard Knocks? watching Tepper try to deal with Jim would be very entertaining.  Especially the in season version they now do.

Steichen works for Irsay and he had a great season considering all the injuries. They did a heck of a lot better than we did (with Reich and the team he assembled). Reich is not a good head coach, that would be no matter where he went. Harbaugh is.

Dungy and Arians also worked for Irsay and they were pretty damn good coaches too.

The GM vs HC at that time with ownership backing the GM. Two 1 and dones at HC under that GM and the owner finally figured out how to marry those two together. York actually said he would like to have dinner with JH right after hiring Shanny and Lynch Link. It took 2 more seasons but he did change and his time with JH was a big part of that.

So did Reich his first year.  Hell, his first couple of years.
