Ben Johnson doesn’t want us, we are such a bad situation. why didn’t we hire the top guys? Ben Johnson is going back, Slowik had only had one second interview.

At some point you have to pull the trigger. Like everyone said, there’s only 32 of these gigs and if he has a subpar year or two, he may never be a HC (assuming he wants to be one)

Good on him, standing on principles and knows his worth. Lions are now the SB favorites next year and rightfully so.....

It's basically the equivalent of betting on yourself. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.

Ed Dodds has been doing it as a GM candidate for years. He's said repeatedly that he only wants to take the right job because he wants it to be his only GM job, but he still gets interviewed on pretty much an annual basis.

Johnson might feel the same. Or maybe he just wants to finish the story in Detroit.

McDonald and Quinn might be good bets.
