Pretty much.

What's sad is that a lot of what did him in was being too collaborative. But then a moment of selfishness is what ultimately sealed his fate.

How good is she? Don't honestly know, but she's risen up the ranks and is generally considered likely to be the leagues first female GM.

Gotta believe Tepper would love to be able to say he's the guy that hired her.

Hard to tell With all the DEI going on.  If this were ten years ago you would have said she rose through the ranks on merit alone.  I'm sure that would be the narrative now, but exactly how accurate would that be?

I haven't researched her enough to know.

There’s been some buzz that the Panthers could add a senior vice president of football operations to serve as a go-between for Tepper and the coach/GM. Dawn Aponte, the NFL’s chief administrator of football operations, would be a strong candidate for such a role.

Now this is a name I know, not for personnel reasons though. More for personality and authority.

If the idea is to get somebody that can tell David Tepper when he's full of sh-t, Aponte isn't a bad idea at all.

He wasn't ready to be an OC. His play designs were bad, his playcalling off, and there's speculation he was one of the people complaining behind Reich's back. And that's not even mentioning his wife's social media stunt.

If there's an MVP for this season's coaching dysfunction, it's probably Brown.

The social media thing was a big red flag.

My guess is he'll catch on as a runningback coach again and maybe work his way back up.

That or go back to the college level.
