Even our 1-15 season, we were competitively in most games giving some hope of a win each week.  This year we didn’t have a chance in 90% of them.

As long as Tepper owns the team, new rock bottoms will always be possible. Maybe he changes his ways…but people like that typically don’t.

2001 & 2010 gave the Panthers a core of good young players & all pro vets to build around. Just needed to replace the QB, add 1 clutch offensive weapon & 1 defensive clutch playmaker. They had top draft picks.

2023 needs to replace QB, add a clutch offensive weapon & add a clutch defensive playmaker. They have no all pro carry over talent. They have the defensive foundation to carry over. They only have Thielen as offensive carry over. There is no top 1st round pick.

2023 is definitely the worst & most hopeless season in Panthers history. Bryce Young is at Weinke & Clausen levels of NFL play. He needs to be replaced & at the very least challenged.

For me it's the Jake implosion game against AZ since you said "moment". Even worse than the SB losses for me.

Easily the lowest.  Clausen year we had a pick.  This doesn’t get resolved next year.  Best case 2 years, best case.

I was there.  That end zone pick Jake threw and Larry Fitzgerald absolutely Mossing Ken Lucas looked worse in person than it did on TV. 

As for the actual in-game experience, they handed out rally towels and this drunk redneck sitting next to me told me he was going to kick my ass if I didn't stop waving mine.  I guess it was bothering him as an attendee of a football game.  Two Cardinals fans in front of me were in awe of the misty rain that was coming down, thinking it was snow.

Anyway I stayed until the bitter end and watched probably a hundred Cardinals fans descend to the lower level and celebrate behind their bench.  Must have been a blast for them.

It’s really the lack of the first overall pick next year that makes it the worst. On field performance and win loss record was comparable to 2001 and 2010, but the future is definitely bleaker now.

I really don’t think we can go any lower. I mean we drafted a crap QB and ended up with the overall #1 pick, but give it to Chicago through trade. I mean what’s worse?

Been with the team since 96. Have seen some horrible seasons but you’re right, this one is the worst. And not only does the product on the field stink but we have an owner who has turned into a gigantic a-hole. I don’t see him changing so it’s possible we stink for the foreseeable future.

We finish this turd of a season off with two back to back shut-outs.
