This isnt a Darnold/Mayfield situation. Bryce lacks the requisite arm strength to even make the plays that Stroud has been making a routine basis. The guy is not a NFL QB.

Bryce would put up Teddy B type numbers if he was dropped onto the 49ers roster for a season, he is just not it. 

 

Pootie, they got a whole new coaching staff. An OC from the baby-Shanahan tree. Chark's game in Green Bay was the norm for them plus they were YAC machines. That's not just a QB. That's an offensive scheme. If nothing else, we know Bryce can throw a wr screen. Our WRs just can't do anything with them. Houston's big 3 could all take it the distance anytime. You have to respect all 3. Carolinas receivers are all basically possession receiver athletes, that run bad routes, and can't catch consistently.

If you want to give Bryce excuses thats cool, but im not going to hold my breath. I have seen enough of the 16/31 164 yards. I dont have any hope of next season being better if we signed prime Bill Walsh to be our HC.

He can take snaps from under center and hand the ball off, but he cannot play extensively under center which makes our play calling extremely predictable. It is not hard to see, open your eyes.

None, but they have the ability too. Bryce cannot execute a simple 3 step drop from under center because he cant see the field. He has trouble seeing the field as it is in the pistol and shotgun formations.

I watched the majority of his snaps this season, I am guessing half of you didnt. Nothing about his game this year gives me even a tiny bit of hope that he turns it around. I am looking forward to how high of a pick he can get us in the 2025 draft. 

Cause stats without context mean nothing. Every one who breaks down film can tell you it’s not like Bryce is missing a ton of reads and throws. We can’t even run a normal pass offense with this offensive line

This is about as actual a conversation as I can have with someone who's obviously in their feelings and just trying to prove a point that isn't true. He passed from under center enough to show he can do it. If the OC decides not to call those plays, then...

Look it's been a horrible season. No need to be so obtuse that you make it worse than what it really was. As if one player is the reason this team won 2 games.

Show me the plays that he passed form under center that wasnt a screen or a roll out on play action. It has nothing to do with being in my feelings. He cannot do it. 

He was a major contributing factor in us only winning two games. We werent winning the super bowl even if we had the best QB in the league, but we could have done a hell of a lot better than 2 wins.

We cant run a normal pass offense because little man has to be 10 yards behind the OL to see the field which creates easy lanes for the pass rush to eat him alive. Couple this with the fact he cannot pass accurately over 15 yards down field and it is a recipe for disaster.

So now it can't be a screen or roll out?  

You acknowledged that no team passes exclusively from under center. Probably 5% of passes at most. Why does it even matter?
