This was the only thing that made sense at this moment in time. Yes, Marty Hurney deserves to get his ass fired and driven out of the league as a laughingstock for letting it get to this point, but now that it WAS at this point, the right decision was to just cut him loose. I applaud the FO for a rare moment of intelligence.

Not sure I can blame Hurney on this one. They tried to sign him a number of times. Peppers is going to find out NO ONE is going to want to pay those big dollars that he wants.

We will survive. I think the FO has done well in preparing for his departure. It may not be flashy but I feel our DE will fill the void and do well.
