Will Panthers Restricted Free Agents Be A Problem?

Mike Florio writes (posted at profootballtalk.com) that many Restricted Free Agents (and their agents) are very upset that they will not be Unrestricted Free Agents this year as expected.

As a way of showing just how angry they are, many of these 200 or so players, may refuse to sign their tenders, and skip OTA's, and mini-camps (pulling a Peppers).

However, it probably won't last past June 15th. On that date, teams can reduce their Free Agent Tenders to 110% of the players 09 salary.

Will this effect the approach Panthers free agents take,or will it be a non-issue?

Non-issue. Anyone who sits out stands to lose so much more than they can gain from doing it.

I think marshall is the only RFA that was looking for a big payday but he wouldn't do that. All of our RFA's are solid as far as that issue is concerned.
