peppers walks, randy signs...

According to randy moss aka a WR that is faster than Steve Smith, reports that he doesn't expect to be with the patriots next season. So if peppers walks I expect the panthers to offer randy moss a 2year deal. I know this will never happen but Fox needs something to shake!

Check out rotoworld.com for moss coments.

1) he said he doesn't believe the Patriots will resign him in 2011. He will still be there next year.

2) he'll be looking for a huge payday, and frankly I wouldn't give it to him. he's aging, and is the Peppers of WR's. gives up on plays if he gets frustrated early, and has always been a slouch in the post season.

Smiths on field speed right now owns Moss'

nope

smith is quicker and more agile but moss is wayyyy faster as far as speed. He's always been fast and with that long stride you will have a hard time catching him.

If moss and smith make wide open catches, but a defender has the angle on him, moss will get away more times than smith.

    • Same... With the personnel the Niners had, that defense could have been historically good in the right hands. Under Wilks they were certainly good, they didn't quite rise to that level. Honestly, I see Wilks kinda like I see Rivera: fantastic person, decent head coach. Skill wise, phenomenal DB coach, so-so DC. His greatest strength is his leadership. Hard to find many better in that department. In the Xs and Os / execution area though, not as good. Bottom Line: Wilks is the sort of coach that needs a staff that excels in those aspects of the game where he's weaker. But, like Rivera, I don't know that he scouts assistants very well. That as much as anything might be why he's not in the NFL now.
    • Clearly the best outcome for us is a Giants W. A spot or two difference in the 4th round is inconsequential. Just look at the trade value charts. A spot or two at the top of the 1st means a LOT. A spot or two in the mid-rounds? Virtually nothing.
    • Agree. I don't think I have ever heard him say anything positive, at any time, about the Panthers. Best expectation is no mention at all.
