I don't think you're getting the particulars of this case correctly. The NCAA, of which the University of Michigan Athletics Department is a member and therefore has pledged to abide by its regulations and bylaws, is perfectly empowered to investigate allegations of cheating and hands down penalties as it deems appropriate in accordance with its bylaws. Of course, Michigan could challenge the NCAA in a court of law, all the way up to the Supreme Court, but the nature of the case is rather different from the monopolistic exploitation of college athletes (Sherman Act violation) of previous cases, which were brought by individual athletes. Any court of law worth its salt will not stop the NCAA from handing down penalties against a member institution that knowingly broke agreed-upon bylaws or had so little institutional control that the relevant bylaws were flaunted.

Oh man this feller here doubling down now telling us what the US court systems will do

I care way less about this coaching hire than the last few. I just feel it's doomed whatever way they go. I'm going to think about the turkey sandwich I'm eating soon for lunch instead.

Yep. It sure feels that way. They are probably going to end up with some dude like Kliff Kingsbury

Please dude. UNC was vindicated. I get that a lot of people (duke/NCST fans) were upset that the ncaa didn’t nuke the UNC basketball program, but that anger was misplaced. Y’all should be mad at people like Dan Kane for stringing you along for clicks.

Another interesting thing about that UNC fake news scandal, you had reporters and investigators dumpster diving at chapel hill looking for a ghost, when if they coulda used half that energy investigating Zion and his family/duke; Suliamon raping people/nc state actively buying recruits …..they may have actually found a story worth reporting.

I don't give a rats ass about cheating just own it.  If you ain't cheating you ain't trying. Just fuging with you

    • I just switched to prime video with fanduel south. Will I be able to watch the Canes playoff games still?
    • I mean, you can use that "logic," but the problem is that most practice squad players, backups or average guys don't put the play on film that Wharton did when given their opportunities.  Perhaps you'll end up right, but I don't think that just because a guy has been in a rotation makes him inherently less productive because he gets more snaps. I will say that the KC fans I've seen on social media loved him, and considered him their second best DT,  regardless of his "rotational" status, and generally considered him a dawg, so I'm going to give him the benefit of doubt until he shows otherwise.
    • Did I miss something?  The people we have developing players now are not the ones we've had in the past so I don't know what the heck people are talking about when they say we are not good at developing players right now.  We only have one year to go on.  Canales likes young players or players who are on an upward trajectory, especially in FA this year.  Past QB's and what he's done with Bryce are good examples. Tershawn Wharton - 26 Tre'von Moehrig - 25 Pat Jones II - 26 Bobby Brown III - 24 Michael Jackson - 28 Jaycee Horn - 25 Tommy Tremble - 24 We missed on Milton Williams but he's 26. Everyone else we picked up are on 1 year deals.  The Panthers new front office and Canales absolutely scream developmental team. Pick 8 (stay) Tier 1 Elite - Abdul Carter, Travis Hunter and Mason Graham Tier 2 Elite - Jalon Walker, Mykel Williams, Will Johnson Trade down: There are quite a few really good players that fit us at Edge, DT, S and WR mid to late 1st and high 2nd.  Some combos that would be possible that I really like.  Imagine getting 2 of these guys by trading down. Stark, Pierce Jr, Golden, Scourton, Grant, Emmanwori, Ezeiruaku, Umanmielen, Deone Walker, Harmon and this is just off the top of my head.
