Game 54: Bobcats @ Bucks

This is why the city won't get behind them. They scrub it up after a big win.

Diaw being himself, inconsistent. Wallace just not caring about ANYTHING, I thought the all-star game was just something different but he's hardly jumping out there. Nazr shouldn't even be playing cause he's hurt. The only highlights of this game are TT and Jax.

Wallace needs to wake the F up, seriously. I thought I was eating my words from the first half of the season but now I'm starting to think we need to trade him again when we can.

Couldn't agree more.

This board is so bipolar it's ridiculous. It's a bad game. Yes, those suck to have to watch but sometimes players have off nights. We'll bounce back. The additions we've made our strong and that's what counts. When the rest of the team plays like they did last night, we can't be stopped.

In other words, most people are fairweather fans. We have beat the beat team in the NBA 3 times and are in a position to make the Playoffs for the first time. If people cannot get at least somewhat excited about that then they are not fans to start with.

i think they are just Panther (football) fans that are used to making a big deal out of 1 loss.. its hard for them to understand that its not a sprint..

however- for a new fan to find out about our 2 losses to the Nets, and the recent struggles against weaker teams and our struggles on the road- it is all they know.. they havent seen all the great times the old Bobcats fans have basked in.. well, u kno what i mean..

still plenty of time left in the season guys. If the team doesn't get to the playoffs, think about the experience they gain from being soo close. They will know that they need to beat the teams they should, because, when they face up against the best of the best, the Cats are a nightmare to them. Plus, give some time for TT to mesh together with the team.

Don't be a homer. As a Bobcats fan or any team fan you have the right to criticize your team when they are playing down to the competition each time they play a team not as talented as them. Nets, Bucks, Kings came back on us twice from like 20 point leads, losing to NO without CP3, etc. I love this team and yes I'm excited but I'm being realistic. We have to beat the teams we should beat if we want to be a serious player in this league. Beating the Cavs 3 times means nothing when we'll lose 20 games against bad teams. If Wallace is that hurt we need to stop playing the poor guy so many minutes a game. Diaw can play SF and so can Jax, not that TT is around.

And you guys that say "after one loss," are obviously retarded. Two games before we lost to the worst team in the league (maybe EVER) for the SECOND time in a season.

So yes, if the Panthers lose to the Rams twice last year (obviously we'd have to be in the same devision) I'd still be pissed. Wouldn't you? Don't be a homer.

I am excited for TT though, he has a energy that I love. If he didn't sit on the bench the whole second quarter last night may have ended differently.

Wallace is not the type of player to take over games. He's a slasher with a mediocre post up game. If the offense isn't moving, guys aren't making shots to draw defenders, there are no lanes for Wallace to slash in and when he posts, he'll draw the attention of 2-3 defenders and have to kick it out.

When this happens he can only run off screens and take jump shots and he had some success with that against the Bucks. Brown has to get the entire offense working, then Wallace will have better numbers. Otherwise we have to let Jack play one on five. I put most the blame on DJ and Felton. They don't do a good enough job most nights of setting guys up. Also they are inconsistent shooters and along with Diaw if those 3 aren't hitting shots, the offense is dead.

With Wallace, I'm just noticing his play on defense mainly. He doesn't really attack the rim or contest shots, and I guess the hammy is really screwing up his game. We should let him get more rest.

Would you like some milk with this pie?
