Let that sink in. This guy has come so far and he is ELITE. He may not get the sacks yet, but once they get a quality guy next to him, they will come.

He is the defense clog that they must sign. They can't lose a player like that. Whatever it takes sign the man.

Pay Brown, tag and trade Burns. No, you're not gonna get anywhere close to what the Rams offered for him. That shop has sailed. But he's not the type of defender you can pay like he's one of the best defenders in the NFL, because he's just not. He's never taken that next step to become consistent and put the same effort in on running downs. If you wanna be paid like you're elite be elite.

Stop.  Thinking.  Like.  This.

What he gets for sacks is irrelevant.  Completely.  He is there to take up two blockers on every play and allow our LB's to actually play the game.  He needs to push the pocket so the QB cannot step up.  If he does these things he's worth top DT money.

He has a disappointing second year. Other than that he's been damn good.

I hope were saying the same about Icky in a couple years.

Yea, he's the must sign. Scary part is he probably hasn't even had the luxury of NFL top level coaching since he's been here, which means he probably still hasn't peaked. That's crazy to think about. 

Glad to see him finally get some recognition. Well deserved.
