You probably are correct.. It's just the irony of life that gives me that feeling.

That's not the way that works. The history of owners who didn’t care about the team but the value of the franchise/money, it's really, really, really bad. 

A dumb active owner is bad enough, you don’t want an owner who doesn't care and doesn't want to spend money.

With our luck Tepper would divorce Nicole and she'd buy our expansion team. But in all seriousness I wouldn't miss any of these players, and a fresh start is needed, so yes I'd take the deal.
