2 man Luge...who thought this was a good idea?

Someone walk me through the thought process here. I know the Olympics started in Greece where rampant homosexuality was par for the course, but they've already got a parade in San Francisco every other weekend for christ's sake.

And how is this a sport exactly? These guys are sliding down a fuging iced up water slide, completely motionless. No physical exertion whatsoever. They should at least throw poo on the slide and see if they can maneuver around it or something.
