Is it worth the headache she'll give you for missing it?

Based on my experiences I'd say just man up and deal with it.

Actually, that's probably the best argument I've heard.

And thanks everyone, for your input. This has actually been a bit of a eye-opener.

Don't know your girl... but in general they are pretty touchy about this...

If it's a work thing or a family thing that caused you to miss it... you should be OK as long as you make it up on Friday AND if she knows in ADVANCE...

If it's your choice to not do anything... ouch. Good luck with that...
