His teams without Ben have been mediocre and he will likely never make another Super Bowl. Oh, and his first Super Bowl was not because of him. He was gifted it.

Tomlin is not a retread these coaches are only as good as their quarterback. no coach is winning with Kenny Pickett and Mason Rudolph. 

Mike Tomlin is exactly the type of coach you would want here.

I would take Tomlin in an instant. But I don't see Tepper having any interest whatsoever in that possibility. Even if you remove the history he has with him Dave has shown he does not want a coach who will put their foot down and speak their mind.

Mike Tomlin has won at least 9 games in 13 of his 16 years, and the other three years were 8-8.

The Carolina Panthers have won 9 games seven times in 29 years of existence.  With multiple 1, 2, 4 win seasons.
