Saints to host NFL kickoff game

Are the Saints going to win it again next year?

(Serious question; wanted to know your opinion)

no way man; the stars aligned for us this year. I think the Falcons make a run next year to be honest.

If recent super bowl runs show anything; it's that you need a VERY solid QB at the helm. There aren't many of those around and Ryan is one of them. Same reason Dallas (with all their talent) will never make it; Romo just isn't one of those dudes.

it's called objectivity; they are solid. Hate them probably more than you; but Ryan is a good solid QB. That being said I think someone out of the AFC wins next year. Whoever said Tampa as a SB contender already? Not yet...give them 4 or 5 years.

Thank you for the honest and analytical response.

The Falcons might make a run but being a Panthers fan, I know more about the Panthers than the Falcons and I think that this could be a good year for the Panthers. Maybe not a Super Bowl year, but Peppers is likely gone, the defense will have to change to accomodate but will have a better overall supporting cast. If Matt Moore turns out to be anything decent and a decent WR is picked up, it could be a good year.

I see Tampa Bay coming back and winning a few more than this past year. The Jets will be a contender. I have no clue who might take it all the way, though.

    • A lot of people think this draft is weak at QB--I think, after the first five picks of the first round, there are a ton of developmental QBs who could develop into the role--here is the psychology behind it--Bryce becomes the mentor--you can learn as much by teaching others than by being taught.   It also makes him a true leader.  But I think there are a few QB in this draft that might not be ready now, but in 2 years, could be NFL starting QBs--Howard, Rourke, Ewers, Milroe, Dart, etc.  Talk about a cheaper backup and one that could evolve into trade capital--or if Bryce can't find consistency-his replacement.  Round 3 will have some of these qbs--maybe early day 3.
    • hopefully he has the impact on the run game post surgeries that TD had on defense after his surgeries.
