The Panthers do need a bigger fanbase

So we should accept someone who ditched their franchise so they can come to be even more wishy-washy than some of our "wine and cheesers" already are.

STOP TRYING TO FEED YOUR CHILDREN ZOD!!!

Most of us cheered for another team before we were awarded the franchise. We picked up quite a few rabid fans during the Superbowl run, it's be nice to pick up even more.

I got swept up during the 05 season, but then that was the first time I'd been in the US. UK NFL fanbases are basically a function of Superbowl wins and how much the city is a tourist destination. I saw a total of 5 Panthers jerseys in my two NFL games in London, 2 of them were NC girls studying over here.

The only way the Panthers will get a game over here is if they win at least one Superbowl.

could start by selling playoff tickets outside of the state!!!!

Or regular season ones, too. They did before the Super Bowl year.

I have been a fan since I heard the team was awarded to the Carolinas in 1993. I attended my first game in 1997. We saw the 49ers on MNF. Been to a game or two almost every year since.

The ticket restriction really slaps me in the face.

That would definitely be some dedication, but really, Charlotte's rather close to several state borders, so a lot of fans may be relatively close but still can't get a ticket. They need to do away with that.

The Saints played over there already!London would be a good Panther away game/opponent home game!;)

Hi, I'm a Panthers fan from Denmark.

I became a Panthers fan in 2006 and the first game I saw we lost 20-6 to the Falcons. They rarely show and games with Panthers in TV, it is always the Cowboys, Giants or Patriots but if the Panthers makes it to the Superbowl again and keep playing good offensive football hopefully it will get better.

The good about the Panthers games is that most of them is played at 1 p.m. (7 p.m. danish time) but the game against Tamba was totally worth sitting up from 2.15 a.m. to 5.30 a.m. to see. although the next day in school was pretty hard.

Here is a top 10 list over the most populare and unpopulare teams in Denmark:

The populares:

1: Giants

2: Colts

3: Patriots

4: Cowboys

5: Packers

6: Steelers

7: Chargers

8: Saints

9: Jaguars

10: Vikings

The unpopulares:

1: Patriots

2: Raiders

3: Colts

4: Giants

5: Lions

6: Cowboys

7: Steelers

8: Packers

9: Bengals

10: Chiefs

Hmm. Most of those teams are listed in both, so I'm guessing they're equally loved/loathed by fans of the other teams? :)

Denmark is a lovely country, I've flown over it several times but never had the pleasure of landing.

A Super Bowl win would make the fanbase grow by atleast 50%, the media would pay more attention, and so would the general public. Everybody loves a winner, I heard today from a Cowboys fan that if Jerry Jones don't turn his franchise around nobodys wants to see a losing team, new stadium or not.
