Waiting for the post-holiday price drop on this one. I still love me some Halo (although I'm sure the campaign will only get worse, again) but people will be playing this one for the rest of the 360's lifespan so I'm in no rush.

I like that they're going back to how Halo: CE was. however, I'm too tired of halo and their whiney fanbase and multiplayer dumbassery to want to buy it. I might get it for campaign. I liked the campaign on Halo: CE and Halo 3. Halo 2 was overdone. They went for the home run and imo missed. I enjoyed playing Halo:CE's campaign over and over just to see how many different ways i could do something and to just play around. Halo 2 limited that freedom, kept things more linear. Halo 3 opened the levels up to allow more players to play at once but the enemies just became annoying and the overdone story ruined what could have been something.

Everything "new" and "innovative" about Halo post-CE has been ripped off from other games that did it better.

Yup, I loved that game, still got it actually at my parents house in the attic somewhere. I remember playing against my brother in dialup waaaay back in the day. "You just ate some Priest Porridge"...best healing line in a game, ever.

Ive played all the Halo's except Halo Wars. I can honestly say CE is the best one of them. Halo 2 sucked azz, Halo 3 was better then 2, ODST:What a ripoff.

I might rent this one before I buy it.

As far as pc fps sucking on consoles, I heard good things about one of the Quakes on Dreamcast.
