lucky you I was running into it in 4/5 matches before the patch came out, I quit playing the game for 2 weeks.

and what version do you play the PC got the patch for almost a month before the xbox did

I'm talking about the 360 version. The glitch I ran across wasn't bad enough to quit playing over.

Wendsday before the patch came out I shot down 3 harriers 1 pavelow 1 chopper gunner on top 2 attack heli's in my second match of the day and they all came from the same person and that's not counting all the uav's and jammers he was throwing up there, yeah the glitches weren't game cripling all of that was completly normal.

Dude wasn't boosting he was doing the infinite care package glitch it's where you pull out a care package and press "A" on something you can climb on and press right on the d pad 3 times to where you have a care package out in your hand when you finish climbing, throw the care package collect the item and you will instantly have another you can literally put out 1 care package every 10 seconds.

Only reason I'm posting it is because it's been patched now so you don't have to worry about it anymore.

Am I the only one who thinks Halo is overrated and boring now?

No.

The single player is definitely boring and overrated... has been ever since Combat Evolved.

The multiplayer is still excellent, but playing online with all the glitchers make it a headache. It used to be only a handful of players knew glitches for online games. Thanks to youtube, everyone knows now. And Halo 2 and 3 online multiplayer is full of glitches.

I didn't really play any videogames until i was 13. Halo was the first video game I ever owned or played extensively. I'll pretty much buy every halo related game as long as it's socially acceptable for me to play games. And when it becomes silly for me to I'll hide them away and it will be a dark nerdy secret of mine.

I remember playing games at friends houses and halo was just amazing in every way. I remember taking a sniper rifle and zooming in on objects just to look at the detail. The character models in halo are actually very very detailed.

I like that bungie seperated from microsoft, because too often the publisher gives unrealistic projections on the development of a game. Developers need a long time to make games. They don't need the bean counters deciding when a game goes gold. Half Life 2 took forever but is considered one of the best games EVER. Halo took forever as well. Many of the best games take forever. Sequels to successful games usually don't live up to the first because they were so profitable the publisher makes them spit out another before it's ready.

As silly as it sounds games are media, and media is art. Rush art and you'll fudge it up.

the single player in combat evolved was revolutionary IMO. It wasn't original in any of it's gameplay innovations but it was the first game to put all those innovations into one package and pull it off. That game was around before XBOX live so the multiplayer didn't carry it like future games. It wouldn't have sold so well if the single player wasn't great.

This I can understand. I started playing games alot earlier, but the first game I fell in love with was Final Fantasy 8. Since then I have played every Final Fantasy, and will continue to do so until they nail shut my coffin.
