Olympics hasn't been the same since it switched from the Wide World of Sports crew on ABC doing the broadcasts every time to network bidding for the rights to do it.

Oh, and NBC is tweeting results of events that will be shown on taped delay on NBC. What a brilliant network.

Yeah, if you don't want to know whats going ahead of time on you basically have to stay on NBC. And mute it. I really don't understand the tape delay for most of what s going on. They are in the same time zones as us....aren't they?

Vancouver is -8 GMT, the east coast of the US is -5.

So in reality, it makes less sense to show events on taped delay. In China it was fine, because they were a day ahead.
