He always pulls for his NFC South brethren. If they can win it, he reasons, perhaps the Carolina Panthers will.p/We have not heard from Smith since the season ended. We have at least 2 receivers as fast or faster than Smith, Goodson and Dexter Jackson. Not that we couldn't use a few more guys as well. But honestly, when is someone actually going to work out for us instead of the usual flops.

I really hope smith gets a ring before his career ends...I hope with the panthers but if not I just hope he gets a ring cause he deserves one

It does, he says. But it's more. Fans come to see athletes perform the improbable. They want to see their athletes do what they can't. Take risks, but no prisoners. Play to win.

I hope Coach Fox can read between the lines. Even though I really don't think you need to, to be able to see what he is saying. Stop with the BS of just winning without embarrassing the other team. Sometimes winning big is about sending a message to the other teams you play and the teams you play in the playoffs. You would think Fox would have learned that by now...How long has he been a player/Coach in the NFL? It's a shame if he did learn it, it might be he last season in Carolina and he will take that knowledge with him to another team. That's if he has learned it. Odds? 40/60??

If we added another receiver that could make the defenses pay our offense has the potential to be very very good. We gotta give Moore as many targets as possible on every single down.

Goodson perhaps.. Jackson has more to show than just speed. So does Goodson (while on the field in a real game)...

just because someone is fast doesn't mean poo... it can help, but they have to be an actual threat to catch the ball and make defenses pay.

That has to happen, can't just be talked about..

Don't take this as an insult but when I look at the WR's in NO I am not impressed at all by any one of them and think most are just average NFL WRs. But it's the total until together, albeit including Brees, that makes them impressive. That's what I would like to see in Carolina, not just a good #1 and #2 but 5 WR that all can be productive.

Goodson is neither faster than Smith ror a receiver. Catching some balls out of the backfield and speculation doesn't make him a WR. Dexter Jackson couldn't catch the swine flu.
