The best way to evaluate Young

Why do you think so many don't want to see it?

Because it would prove the obvious and they couldn't hide behind 'it's so hard to evaluate Young this year'  anymore while having to internally confront going so hard for a massive bust way past the point of being reasonable.

It's a big part of why they won't sit him. They're gonna look even worse if Dalton comes in and plays considerably better. The time to play Dalton was after he looked way better than Bryce when he played in week three. At this point the season is sunk so why bother? Just keep trotting Bryce out there and repeating the mantras. Bryce will be fine. Bryce will be a good NFL QB.

There is no way you or anybody actually believe this.

The reason they keep playing Bryce is because they think it's the best for his development.  I personally disagree.  At this point he has been developing bad habits from the constant pressure and no weapons to throw too.

It has absolutely nothing to do with "Dalton will prove haters right".

I don't know if there's honestly a lot of thought beyond "fug, we're just embarrassed at this point and don't know what to do so let's just keep on keeping on and just act like we're confident in this QB that's shitting the bed every Sunday."

if dalton came in and competently ran the offense than yes, it would make tepper look terrible. and some of us want that for many reasons!

"Haters" are just realists who's entire worldview isn't contingent upon getting pissed on and calling it rain.
