Ticket Buying Strategies?

I got online it 9:58. Loggged onto ticketmaster and got in immediately got in. Refreshed twice and got the screen asking what I wanted. Clicked best available and up popped a club level ticket in section 318. I was excited until I saw the $300 price tag. I exited out and clicked upper deck best available and got one in section 538 for $85. That is good for me since my PSLs are in 531. Now my 14 year old son gets to go. Building memories. He is becoming a huge fan!
That's where I went wrong the screen said "don't backspace or refresh"and I waited an hour an got nothing:mad:!I should of refreshed!:mad2:

OMG I was so disgusted with ticketmaster! I was on the very second tickets went on sale, I began refreshing every second at 9:56am :D I could not get 2 tickets together in any section!!!! I could get 1 ticket but every time I put in 2 tickets, even at 10:00am and 10:01am it came back with no tickets. I did end up with tickets from ticketsnow for double face value but whatever, I will be there!

I also don't like the NC/SC only rule, I'm in VA but my SIL is in NC so she gave me her credit card. I understand they are trying to keep the opposing fans from buying tickets, and also give "home" fans an advantage, but my location doesn't detract from my loyalty to my team. I don't know what the answer may be, and it was moot for me anyway since I couldn't get tickets. I didn't have this issue buying tickets to the '04 playoff game against Dallas, scored 3club tickets in a heartbeat, and there was no residency requirement.

That must be a real good friend NLTF. I believe I would have bought mine first, and then tried for the friend.

He is.

Plus, I've been to 4 games this year including the Monday Night game and he's never been to one. I'd do fine to go home and watch the game with my mom or watch it with my roommate at school (he's a huge Panthers fan, too).

    • As I said less than 10 minutes into the game, Boston looks nothing like we're used to seeing. Regardless, any curb-stomping of the Bruins is welcome.  The scorers all got the glory tonight, but all 6 D-men had excellent games. Across the board- Gost, Orlov, Chatty, Walker and, of course, Slavin & Burns.
    • I just tried a few mock draft simulators and this is the only way lol. Nothing else makes sense.
    • No, biggest weakness is pass rush, but I don't think there is a blue chip can't miss DE prospect to take at #1 this year, same as with QB.  But beyond that, moving forward, yea WR is a pretty damn big weakness. We have 1 game this season over 224 yards passing and just traded away our best WR (who wasn't going to re-sign here anyways).  That WR no longer on the team was also the only player we've had this year who had over 78 yards receiving in a game.  So again, yea, WR is one of our biggest weaknesses even right now, let alone moving into the future. As I just said in my other post, I love Legette, but he's not going to be a Top 5-10 WR type of guy, Top 15-20 I can see, I think he can be a good #1 WR or an elite #2. After that, what do we have for the future?  Thielen isn't part of it, sure as hell isn't going to be Mingo, and as much as we all like Coker, in no world is Coker as our #2 to Legette as the #1 going be considered as "having weapons" at WR, even with Brooks and Sanders. But put someone like T-Mac into that group, who I genuinely think is going to be a Top 5 WR in this league for a long time, and it changes things.  A Top 5 WR with Legette/Coker as the 2/3, along with Brooks and Sanders, has the potential to be one of the best set of offensive weapons in the league if they reach their potential.
