Ticket Buying Strategies?

I got online it 9:58. Loggged onto ticketmaster and got in immediately got in. Refreshed twice and got the screen asking what I wanted. Clicked best available and up popped a club level ticket in section 318. I was excited until I saw the $300 price tag. I exited out and clicked upper deck best available and got one in section 538 for $85. That is good for me since my PSLs are in 531. Now my 14 year old son gets to go. Building memories. He is becoming a huge fan!

I think it's a fair assumption, GaCatFan, that most Panthers fans live in the Carolinas. We don't have a nationwide fan base that other teams might. I can appreciate the logic behind restricting sales to NC and SC, but I feel for people like you who are the exception to the rule. It certainly sucks having to resort to 3rd parties who inflate ticket prices.

Just move to Charlotte!

Edit: Good luck trying to get your tickets!!

Wish I could move to Charlotte, but that is not possible. Probably will never happen.

Didn't get any tickets. I went to a local grocery store that has a Ticketmaster outlet in it in North Augusta, SC. We got there about 10 minutes before 10 AM. When I approached the counter, a sales agent told me that they were not able to sell Panthers tickets. The agent said that the Panthers had told them that sales would be online or over the phone only and not at their outlets. She said they contacted the Panthers a couple of times, and that is what they were told. There was another guy there who was also from Georgia, and he had already asked the same thing. So, I returned home with mission unaccomplished. Needless to say, I was pissed.

It's a shame the Panthers bite the hand that feeds them. I know I'm just one person, and my little annual contribution (ticket/merchandise purchases) is nothing to them. Somebody will be sitting in the seats I could have bought. All the folks who do live in the Carolinas should be thankful for what they have, and they don't have to go through the hassle of just getting tickets.

I will just watch on TV.
