Ticket Buying Strategies?

I think it's a fair assumption, GaCatFan, that most Panthers fans live in the Carolinas. We don't have a nationwide fan base that other teams might. I can appreciate the logic behind restricting sales to NC and SC, but I feel for people like you who are the exception to the rule. It certainly sucks having to resort to 3rd parties who inflate ticket prices.

Just move to Charlotte!

Edit: Good luck trying to get your tickets!!

I cant believe they restrict those ticket sales to NC/SC residents. Thats a horrible policy. I lived in Cali in 2003 and picked up some tickets for the Cowboys game and flew in for that. Oh well I guess I will have to use some friends for that.

One thing that I have found helpful when buying is not being in the area that would have the most people logging on to buy. I have been able to get straight through and my friends in Charlotte could not get through. I think it would have to do with everyone in Charlotte trying to log in at the same time and slowing up the servers. This was the case for the playoff game and when buying tix for USC/Ohio St this year.

I just tried to log on to the Ticketmaster site at 0630 this morning, and have yet to be allowed on it because there are so many people trying to get in. So instead, I went to Stub Hub and got tix for not much more than what I anticipated paying from Ticketmaster ($349.00 for two tix mid-way up in one of the 500's sections).

The tickets on Ticketmaster you would have gotten for face value. And I just logged on now (9am - an hour before sale) with no problems. Maybe the site was down for some reason or another

Some teams don't have individual ticket sales all all. Our fans should be thankful for what they get
