Is the AFC North outdated?

Brings up a valid point.Since we are a running team.I still think it can work but we have to get more production from the passing game.

It's one of the few divisions which, from top to bottom, continues to try to win championships with great defense and a strong running game. Last season, three of the four teams in the AFC North had 1,000-yard rushers and top-five defenses. Yet none of those teams finished with more than 10 wins or got within striking distance of capturing this year's Super Bowl title

There was a similar thread to this a few weeks ago, but not using the AFC North as context. Take a look though:

I don't think I'd be ragging on the AFC North given that their teams have won 3 out of the last 8 Super Bowls. Baltimore and Pittsburgh did it with great defenses, yes, but Pittsburgh passing game wasn't exactly crap last year.

Yeah, sorry, I wasn't saying that you were ragging on them - I was talking about the blog you sourced.
