For QB Development: WR vs TE

I'm curious what you guys think but what do you think is more important / essential to Bryce's growth? A stud WR or a stud TE with pick 33? 

 

And no, you can't say both, pick one over the other and explain why... curious to see what you guys think

Given Bryce's limited arm, Id say TE.

Umm Bryce is not a good QB. Not sure why people think adding a WR or TE is going to make him throw better balls. This is coming from a guy who wanted Bryce. This guy was great in college, but he doesn't have the skillset to make it at the NFL level.

This from a guy hyping Sheduer Sanders for heisman last season.  No one knows what Bryce can be in this league right now.

I don’t hate you at all man.  I have a problem with people that follow the crowd no matter how ridiculous they might be.  Bryce needs at least a fair chance and 3 years with a competent staff.  People want instant gratification and that is the absolute wrong stance here.

Everyone can see how this team has zero talent on offense.  If Ikey isn’t good maybe Moton is ok?  It is a fuggin farce.

Add the atrocity of the play calling by these coaches and he has no shot

He needs talent no doubt, but you can't deny he has look pretty below average as a passer. Even when guys rarely get open he's missing them. Mingo had a easy TD yesterday and Bryce badly missed him. He doesn't have great arm strength. I mean usually those franchise QB's show you signs throughout the season. I haven't seen anything from Bryce.

 

Has he even had a 300 yard passing game?

There isn't a single throw he made that I remembered saying this guy has it.

He has looked bad lately.  No doubt.  That we continue to trot him out there is to me…disturbing.  He should be sitting and learning.  There is literally no reason at all to play him right now.  
 

I don’t think any QB could win in this situation.  This really drives home for me that whether a QB succeeds or not has a ton to do with the team he goes to.  Completely clear now.

Bryce was the consensus #1 pick by draft time.  If we didn’t take him #1 someone else would have

Bryce doesn’t have the arm strength to throw to the middle of the field. He also can’t throw a deep ball. I say we pick a QB.

Usually a rookie QBs security blanket is a TE.

Serious question: does anyone trust Young hitting TEs in the middle of the field in tight zone coverage? Middle of the field is where TEs thrive. A stud TE is a QBs best friend, but he can’t see over his lineman and he doesn’t have the arm to get it there safely. 

So WR I guess. Big, tall, fast that can catch… that will hopefully be there at 33.
