Bryce Young is historically bad, and he's regressing

While it's easy to do, let's not compare Stroud to Young's rookie season.  A quick comparison:

Head Coach:  Demeco Ryans vs. Frank Reich/Chris Tabor

OC: Bobby Slowick versus Thomas Brown

LT:  Laremy Tunsil versus Icky Ekwonu

Skill Positions:  ....  I don't have time to type all of that....

You can't help where you're drafted.  We all thought (and a lot of the media) that Young was drafted into a great situation where he could find success.  Whoops, missed that one, EVERYBODY (including me).

I get that people like to look and see how green the grass is, if Bryce had been drafted to Houston, he'd probably be playing similarly to the way Stroud has.  Stroud would look a lot like Bryce due to the constant hits, lack of weapons, poor play calling and play design.  It doesn't matter who wears the jersey, the results will be the same.

That being said, since Tepper is calling all the shots, he needs to protect his investment and pull Bryce.  Let Dalton play.  Bryce is only picking up bad habits and extra shots without the improvement.  Time to invest in the future and let the Red Rifle play.

Stroud is making basic NFL level throws. Young is not. Right now, with the level of Youngs play, I would say we had lost our first 3 qbs and he was a guy we picked up off someone else's practice squad last week. Joe Flacco is playing better and was on a couch 3 weeks ago.

Agreed.  If so, we'd sign 3 more Adam Thielen clones.

The skill talent they added this offseason wasn’t catering toward Bryce.  It’s one of the many examples of no vision in Carolina.  Everything was random parts thrown together.

First half of the season (1-5):
137/213 (64%), 1,202 passing yards (200 per game, 5.6 yards per attempt), 7 TDs, 4 picks, 4 fumbles

Second half of the season (0-6):
107/204 (52.5%), 990 passing yards (165 per game, 4.8 yards per attempt), 2 TDs, 5 picks, 4 fumbles

This is putrid. I don't think keeping Bryce on the field is going to help him develop at this point, there has been no improvement through 12 games

The lad is stinking it up no doubt....problem is we may have to watch the same show next season too.

He got drafted to and plays for the worst organization in the NFL. The Carolina Panthers have the worst win % out of ALL professional sports teams since 2019. Yes that includes the NBA MLB etc. Dead last. It's going to take more than drafting a QB #1 overall into a talent deficient offense with a lame duck coaching staff to turn this around.

Go ahead and blame it all on Bryce though. Whatever helps you all cope with the fact that you are fans of the worst organization in ALL of professional sports

Bro 1-12 skews thew record pretty hard. Obviously ther last 6 yeasrs sucked.

This is like people lost at sea in a raft looking at open ocean ands seeing an oasis. It was a total illusion.

We've had double digit losses every single year. 5-11 5-11 5-12 7-10 1-12. We are at our average losses for the year already. How is it skewing the stats exactly by being 1-12?

Conversely he was drafted by a team with a top 10 defense and a bunch of mid market vets on offense. He’s since had the worst EPA of any starting QB in the last 10 years. These teams we’re losing to are all bad and banged up, sure our team sucked but the opp has been just as bad. That Saints, Bucs, and Titans secondaries we’re mostly practice squad guys they just called up. And he still can’t get it done. We’re a crappy organization bc we make boneheaded moves like trading away everything for the smallest QB in modern NFL history.

Are you seriously this delusional?

Driven by hunger, a fox tried to reach some grapes hanging high on the vine but was unable to, although he leaped with all his strength. As he went away, the fox remarked 'Oh, you aren't even ripe yet! I don't need any sour grapes.' People who speak disparagingly of things that they cannot attain would do well to apply this story to themselves.

You don’t see the difference between 7-10 and 1-12?

    • Watching Rams/Eagles. Celebrating the St Louis Rams team that won the SB (Warner, Holt, etc..) while playing in Los Angeles seems wrong.  If I were in Los Angeles, no way I would attend a Rams game.  Probably wouldn't attend a Chargers game either.  Becoming a fan of a team that likes to move around just seems like a waste of energy as a fan.
    • The only responses I am getting after providing statistics to put opinions in perspective seem to be from people who get angry and attack stats and people whose opinions differ from their own.  Have people on the Huddle ever overreacted, exaggerated, been wrong about players before?  Sure they have, so an alternative opinion with statistical support should not cause you to attack me or my views.  I am sorry your public schools failed you.  But your reactions are very revealing--you are stuck in Piaget's concrete operational stage--learn logic, how to debate a topic, and learn the difference between facts and emotional opinions.  When I paralleled Cam's stats with Jones' to point out how remarkably similar their careers have been to this point, It blew some 40 watt minds.  I think Jones, in a better situation, could be good--that should not upset you--
    • penalties and poor hands is what cost us in the RZ Bryce missing "high" in the back of the end zone is not an issue, you're taught as a QB to throw high in the back of end zone were only the receiver can catch or no one The duo of Ian Thomas and Tommy tremble can both go at the end of the season, both been here for multiple seasons and they've barely developed
