You may have billions of dollars. You may have succeeded into the stratosphere of the hedge fund industry. You may have every earthly possession you could ever want. But you don’t have what it takes to build a winning football team. You don’t have the respect of the Panthers fan base. In fact, you the full and disgusted disrespect of what is left of the fanbase after witnessing the rotted corpse of what used to be a somewhat enjoyable NFL team to follow. 

I have but one suggestion. Stop it. Stop trying to be an NFL GM. You are not going to succeed. The reasons you failed are not because you didn’t involve yourself enough, it’s because you involved yourself too much. The giddiness I witnessed on your face when you spoke about the day the team traded up to #1 overall to draft failed QB Bryce Young shows me you are not equipped for being involved in such decisions. NFL trades are not hedge fund stock market trades. Devalued investments are not the same as human athlete evaluations. 

I just moved back to North Carolina after living away for 13 years and I’m shocked at how few Panthers fans remain. You really have outdone yourself. You destroyed an albeit emotional yet proud fanbase. Please stop. Hire people more qualified than you to fix the disaster you have created. Sail off on your yacht to Monaco and enjoy an F1 race or something. Go to space. Do something billionaires are good at. Just stop ruining our football team.

You’re absolutely correct, it’s too bad he thinks we are stupid and he thinks he knows more than everyone else when he doesn’t. Once he said come out of the basement, not once, but on two separate occasions, he let us know how he feels about fans. Dude can’t take criticism. Charmin soft.

Everybody is misjudging tepper. Is he a meddling, flatuent, flaccid, blowhard carpetbagger?  Well, it appears to be so far. Is he the living, walking embodiment of Homer Simpson?  Well, yes it looking that way.  Did he ruin the Panthers when there was a competent, nice looking local ownership group being formed?  Well, there's that.  But we haven't seen his real skills at work yet - just wait until the Panthers win a few games maybe a 8-9 season.  Then you will see a master at work to screw the taxpayers of Charlotte and all of NC to fork over money for stadium improvements and other things he should pay for himself. Then threats to move the team.  He will be great at these type of things as soon as things improve.

fug these assholes. I love you. You're a great man. I look forward to you looking at my resume to be your football czar. If the position is no longer available or you choose to pass on me a small donation to my charity to help keep middle-aged men fed with high-quality IPAs would be appreciated.

Mr. Tepper, you could have just gone on a long vacation in Europe and left Coach Wilks in charge and we would be leading this rotten division. That's why I am pissed. It just landed in your lap and you screwed it up. We are really screwed with you in charge. WHY DID YOU HAVE TO BUY THIS TEAM?

      I complete disagree. Who is available is extremely relevant. If you have a couple of players you would be happy with and you can still get them if you trade back, you should do that in a heartbeat. Being afraid that people will lowball you next year is an odd stance. Then you just say no next year, problem solved. In this particular draft you can get a very good player at 46. But to each their own.

      I don't think so.  Watson really screwed them up.  I see something happening, but do not know what.  Cousins could be had in a trade--but they liked Flacco when he played there.  If it were me, I would not spend the #2 pick on Sanders.  I would go after a tier 2 qb because I think Will Howard is going to start in the NFL soon, and I think Ewers was rated very high at the beginning of the year--he knows adversity and he beat out a Manning while taking Texas to 2 playoff appearances.  I am not good at picking QBs, but I think Howard's run pass option and his accuracy is going to help someone.  Stay in Ohio and play for the Browns behind Flacco--

      After Cam at #1, there are three or four elite players and there could be a trade--If I am the Giants and I am needed a winning season badly and I have several needs, I might trade out and pick up mid first and an extra second rounder, including a QB--while nobody is going to move up to #3 for Sanders, they might for Carter or Hunter.  If the Giants then move back, Sanders could still be in play.  That could be the trade in the top 3.  New England wants Campbell and I get that; Jacksonville at #5 could move back if someone wants Graham or Jeanty.  But barring some trade, the top 4 are probably locked in. So it could be 2 hours into the draft before we get any surprises. Nice list, by the way--you nailed it.
