Iirc you’re from Denmark, right? I swear I was one of the first Panthers fans in Germany back in the 90s. Moved to Nova Scotia / Canada in 2015 and there ain't many Panthers fans here either.

Indeed I am. Man I have spend a lot of late nights watching the Panthers over the years. I livedn through the Clause era etc but this franchise is lost and will not get better with the Teppers.

I will most likely just watch college ball and what game Danish television is showing.

We're going into an absolutely pivotal off-season. This fanbase is definitely teetering on the brink. We don't have generations of diehard fandom to lean on like a lot of other franchises. Winning fixes everything but Tepper has definitely turned a LOT of fans off.

In years past even when we were bad you saw a lot of folks rocking Panthers gear. I live within an hour and a half of BOA and I find myself doing a double take anytime I see someone wearing Panthers gear out and about. I've caught myself turning my Panthers gear into work clothes this year. Haven't bought any new gear since the team was sold. Can't see that changing anytime soon.

This is the literal definition of a bandwagon rider lol .

If they choose the Eagles, and then bounce once the Eagles aren't good anymore, then that’s a bandwagon fan.

27 years means they’ve been through the ups and downs, but I feel for OP because this down feels different, hopeless, and we have an owner who broke the team.

That doesn’t fit a derogatory label like “bandwagon fan” to me.

You can not like it, but this person isn’t like a Cleveland, then Miami, then Laker fan who follows Lebron around.

Need different labels for that.

Id get it if he said he was done watching NFL lol. But the switch to another team that makes you happy makes it weird. Like do you just bounce from team to team each year based on if they are winning? You arent going to be happy while losing

Not going to switch teams, no joy in jumping on someone else’s bandwagon. However, After devoting 3 hours each week to the Panthers since their first game I am going to take a break. May catch a movie on Sunday for a while.

I mean we would have to see who he jumps to. Does he pick the Eagles, Chiefs, 49ers? If he picks some meh team like Cleveland or Denver then I wouldn't say it's bandwagon riding. To each their own. I don't see the offense to the term when it fits with what he was saying.

I'm not even ever going to try and fool myself. I may not watch the Panthers play from time to time, but I'll never jump ship.

I may have missed three to five games in the last 20 years (only because of some family obligation). This is just a low point which is highly disinteresting because we cannot even meet the standard of mediocrity, but I will always be a Panthers fan because it would just be damned odd to root for another team.

For better or worse, in sickness and in health, 'til death do us part...I'm going to keep pounding until we reach better days ahead, as long as I'm able.

When we called it quits with Carolina several years ago, I became a football fan in the sense that I just watch games I think will be a good match-up.

It's much more fun to watch without an emotional or financial investment.

It's much more fun to watch not caring who wins or loses.

Not sure I can do that. I like watching College Football but it is just not the same when you don’t “have a team”.

Been a fan over 20 years. Will never pick a new team. Most likely just not watch NFL anymore.

Maybe someday Teppers will find a new toy, until that time. I´m out.

Yeah you were never a fan if you can "pick" a new team.   Checking out I can understand.

I didn't bother watching today's game, sadly wasn't surprised by the final score

I will always be a Panthers fan, but they are just too depressing to watch, it's like watching a loved one being tortured And knowing it's never going to stop anytime soon

Our only hope is if the Teppers piss off the other owners, and judging how long they put up with Snyder, that is a pipe dream
