So we aren't getting 2 1sts and a 2nd.   What is his trade value now?    1st and a 3rd?   Would probably be a late 1st.

Based on how bad this team is in 2023, Burn's lackluster season, and no 1st round pick in 2024, I’d take a late first round pick for Burns right now.

Forget about not taking the Rams offer for 2024 and 2025 draft choices. Scott F’s draft record does little to inspire confidence. He’d probably blow those picks on JAGs that wouldn’t start on any contender in the NFL.

That would allow us to draft wr / lt with our first 2 picks.  I am not optimistic that we are getting a wr worth a poo in free agency wanting to come here voluntarily.

    • I love that little mock draft tool, but it's definitely flawed. Savion Williams consistently drops to the 6th/7th when I do it, and he's likely a day 2 pick. Mike Green is the same.  If the Rams keep playing well, I could definitely see us trading back if the price is right. Would definitely come off of pick 8 and pick 60 (hypothetically) For something like pick 15 and pick 45. Not to mention those 6th and 7th round picks are going to mean a lot more for us than they will other teams. Our roster stinks and needs NFL quality players, especially on defense. I definitely could see us trading back and acquiring more picks. All three of our specialists are free agents as well.
    • This would be fantastic to be an affiliate of the Canes. Just need to bring back Charlotte for the AHL affiliate too and everything would be perfect.
